Advising various businesses on their projects and investment perspectives. That gained me multiple businesses and consulting experience, whole picture view, understanding of various business models flaws and key factors of business development. Both sides experience – investors and startup.
Assessing and analysing investment projects. Building reporting and monitoring system, structuring data, getting key metrics. Providing recommendations and developing alternative strategies.

In my point of view to create a good working business model – for proper understanding and vision of a business, for new bright insights about strategies - the one should be truly curious about domain and specifics of a business, have attention to details, not neglect non-numerical factors, but also comprehend the whole picture, try to view from different points. Pay attention to the metrics no matter how crazy the idea seems to be (ordinary decisions work ordinary). Not to be afraid to break stereotypes and conventional wisdom, be ready to rearrange current point of view and vision of a project and its development.

Senior Financial Analyst

Working for a private international Holding Company with diversified business projects in multiple countries (several production plants, mines and deposits, trading company, real estate projects, IT projects, metal exchange, non-core projects).
The Company is big, but management team is small and flexible. Being part of that team, I gained unique management experience and had broad spectrum functions, including deputy role and responsibilities, far beyond my Senior Analyst duties.
The Company had different times and cycles, that were also caused by external factors. Thus, I got crisis management skills and ability to provide flexible response in rapid-changing conditions.

- Managing analytical, modelling and forecasting part for the entire Group;
- Developing and analysing various financial models – for particular subsidiaries and consolidated Holding model;
- Multiple analysis – models vs Cash Flow, models vs IFRS report, Cash Flow vs IFRS report, etc;
- Ad-hoc analysis on demand;
- Investment options analysis;
- Providing consolidated model and CF;
- In charge of regular CF and PL forecast and execution, analysis of plan vs actual – monthly, semi-annual, annual, several years;

- Active participating in board meetings of the Holding, discussing Group performance and forecasts, providing alternative scenarios and strategies;
- Developing management reporting system and providing key metrics;
- Reporting to and discussing results, forecasts and analysis with the Shareholder;

- Responsible for a financial part of loan agreements, bank covenants; active communication with foreign banks on loans matters (mostly in English);
- Legal practice (international law) with loan Agreements (in English) to meet covenants and requirements, including syndicate loan with foreign banks;
- Participating in fund raising and MTN bonds issue, responsible for a financial and analytical parts;

- In charge of corporate rating (top 3 rating agencies), regular covenants and liquidity reporting;
- Communicating with auditors (big4) and appraisal agencies, providing required models, data, covenants – in both English and Russian;

- Participating in corporate restructuring;
- Active communication and reconciliations with trading company, subsidiaries, partners, other departments (in both English and Russian);
- Cooperating with and instructing projects/production plants teams;
- Dealing with private projects and issues of the Shareholder;
