Launched a subscription-based personal finance management app in the US market for iOS and Android that uses Open Banking API to access financial data and ML to process it. As the only product manager, I constantly switched between strategic and hands-on tasks.

Achievements:

  • Gained the first 500 users at the pre-launch stage by means of deep competitor and target audience analysis without any marketing costs
  • Increased onboarding completion rate by 60%, paywall conversion rate by 50%
  • Gained D7 retention rate 35% by using AI personalization and great UX

Product Manager / Head of Department, Bank Jun 2017 – Oct 2020

Led the department of product owners, BA’s and engineering. We grew the business through the development of new sales channels, conversion optimization, retention management, LTV growth, and process optimizations. Our team, with a deep understanding of client needs, developed financial products and banking software, including a mobile app, an online banking platform, an application management platform (B2B SaaS), and a website.

Achievements:

  • Built the application management platform from scratch, integrated with 15+ systems and data providers, which allowed us to automate, manage, and launch new financial products without coding and moved the sales process from the bank to Point of Sales (car dealerships, e-commerce, malls, etc.)
  • Disrupted car loan market: increased car loan portfolio 20x, market share from 8% to 55%, and delivered an additional $500 million in assets within 2 years, product led growth
  • Increased mortgage market share from 11% to 30% within a year
  • Fully automated workflows equivalent to 40 full-time employees' work within 3 years (OCR, credit scoring, fraud detection), covering over 95% of repetitive tasks
  • Led ideation of a biometric payment solution that was integrated with multiple bank and merchant software
