Senior Java Developer (Databases / remote or Barcelona)

About Product:

We develop an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), a single AI-based platform that enables to integrate 300+ apps (such as Salesforce, Amazon apps, Slack etc.), unify and automate workflows, data and team interaction across these applications with robust security and governance.

What you will be responsible for:

• Developing tools for all databases (SQL mostly, NoSQL, incl. cloud ones)
• Developing a database query builder
• Developing tools for ETL-data processing
• Implementing and maintaining database connectors
• Analyzing performance issues and implementing optimisation of database connectors
• Providing load balancing and application performance monitoring
• Investigating clients issues
• Providing code reviews to teammates

We expect that you have:

• 7+ years in Java development
• Deep knowledge of Java internals (incl. Java Core and JDBC)
• Deep experience in RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and Cloud databases (Redshift, Snowflake)
• Deep knowledge in Query optimization, SQL and ORM technologies
• Knowledge of messaging standards like AMQP and JMS
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience working with high-load and high-performance systems
• English level - Upper-Intermediate+ (B2)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with ETL-data processing
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience working in startups
• Contributions to open source projects
• Ability to switch quickly to another language if necessary
