Payler is a London-based Fintech startup committed to innovation and excellence and providing state-of-the-art payment solutions to our clients over the past 10 years.
We're processing over 400 payment methods across 190 countries, collaborating with major banks, and adhering to the highest security standards (PCI DSS 3.2 Level 1).

We seek a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join and contribute to our dynamic Russian-speaking team.

What You Will Do:

  • Design, implement, and manage a secure, scalable multi-cloud, multi-region architecture (AWS, Yandex Cloud)
  • Lead the automation of operational processes, system deployments, and application scaling
  • Oversee the work of the DevOps team
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate software release processes
  • Collaborate with Development and Security teams to create a comprehensive Infrastructure as Code (IAC) strategy
  • Monitor and ensure system performance, availability, and security
  • Maintain compliance with industry security standards, including but not limited to PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOC2
  • Be proactive in identifying potential issues and provide scalable solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and architectures

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in cloud architecture, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining security protocols and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC2)
  • Strong scripting skills in Shell or Python
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Fintech domain experience is a strong plus
