Game Data Engineer & Analyst

We are looking for a candidate passionate about the Gaming industry to join our team as a Game Data Engineer & Analyst and contribute to the development of core and meta gameplay.
In this role, you will closely collaborate with our game designers, working with end-to-end data processes: from raw data collection and processing to optimization, visualization, and engagement with stakeholders.

What you will be doing in our Team:

• Working with Data: Collecting, processing, and optimizing data to ensure its quality and integrity.
• Analysis and Reporting: Providing analytical services and insights to support decision-making and optimize gaming processes.
• Visualization: Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to track business performance and key metrics.
• Collaboration with Teams: Closely collaborating with game designers and developers to understand data needs and integrate analytics into the development process.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking game metrics and user data to identify improvement opportunities and conduct A/B testing.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• A genuine enthusiasm for the gaming industry and a strong desire to grow within this field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer & Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience in working with transactional data in real-time.
• Strong math skills and a solid understanding of statistical tools.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience working with databases.
• Experience using BI tools (such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with analytics libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).
• Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong communication skills for effective interaction with development teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of the gaming industry and familiarity with game performance metrics.
• Experience working with large datasets and managing data effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with non-standard tasks, clarify requirements, and understand details important to the business.
• Native Russian speaker with a high level of verbal and written English (Intermediate+).
