Our team of 11 people (full-stack, Odoo & IOS developers) is passionate about agile project management and open-source technologies, ensuring that we provide innovative digital solutions that drive efficiency and growth.
We are currently looking to expand our team by hiring a QA Odoo Manual Tester. Please note that you will be working from 8/9 am to 5/6 pm EST (may be adjusted per project needs). As our QA Odoo Manual Tester, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning test strategies based on business and technical requirements;
- Defining test scope and objectives for Odoo modules;
- Executing manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and usability;
- Performing regression testing on updated or fixed modules;
- Testing integrations with third-party applications and custom modules;
- Identifying and documenting defects in issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA);
- Collaborating with developers to resolve issues promptly;
- Maintaining test documentation such as test cases, defect logs, and execution reports;
- Contributing to user manuals and training materials;
- Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and assisting end-users during deployment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, with at least 2 years focused on Odoo ERP systems;
- Familiarity with Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR)l
- Understanding of SDLC and QA processes;
- Basic understanding of Python and XML (used in Odoo);
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Redmine);
- Knowledge of database query testing (PostgreSQL is a plus);
- English - at least B1 level;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Team collaboration and adaptability.
Education: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
