Job summary

We are seeking a senior frontend developer to join our team. This is a key role in our startup, where you'll take ownership of improving our popup creation interface and integration tools. Your work will directly impact how businesses interact with their customers, driving growth across the e-commerce sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality codebase standards
• Mentoring and supporting a second frontend developer
• Participating in architectural decision-making for the frontend system
• Optimizing existing code for performance, maintainability, and scalability

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of extensive full-time development experience
• React expertise with at least 3 years of commercial development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or similar)
• Experience with at least one UI library (e.g., Material UI, Ant Design)
• Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and communicate effectively about tasks with colleagues
• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
• Critical thinking skills, ability to propose solutions, and take responsibility for end results
• Ability to work remotely with daily video calls
• Minimum B1 level in English, both written and spoken (all communications currently are held in Russian)

Will be a plus

• Familiarity with Shopify and Shopify Polaris
• Experience with A/B testing
