Senior Python Developer

U.K.-based product startup with a mission to make sustainability simple, achievable, and integrated into every business. The product incorporates AI-driven tools to collect, process and analyze large volumes of public and internal data, and helps small and medium-sized businesses to create tailored sustainability strategies and comprehensive reporting.

The role of Senior Python Developer involves working with multiple microservices and integrating Large Language Model (LLM) agents, working with a variety of data sources and handling large-scale datasets to build a robust, high-performance system.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, complex solutions that leverage microservice architecture and LLM agents.
• Integrate various data sources, including structured and unstructured data, while optimizing data storage and retrieval.
• Experiment and design innovative solutions amid evolving product visions.
• Propose and experiment with new approaches and technologies to solve complex challenges.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in software development with Python.
• Proven experience building and deploying applications using FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and managing microservices in a cloud environment.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL and understanding of various data types and storage solutions.
• Familiarity and eagerness to learn and experiment with LLM agents and integrate AI-based logic into backend microservices.
• Language: English - B1+.
• Location: outside of Russian and Belarus.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in building AI-based or LLM-based applications, such as chatbots or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience with vector storages.
• Knowledge of Node.js and its ecosystem.

Conditions:

• Temporary contract for 6-7 months with the possibility of extension.
• Fully-remote work.
• B2B contract is preferable.
• Salary $5500-6500/month gross.
