What you will do:
- Perform financial analysis and participate in monthly financial closing, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of financials.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals and budget, identifying inefficiencies and recommending actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with various departments to analyze profitability drivers and support funding and liquidity management.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental plans and forecasts, validating estimates for accuracy and compliance with business strategies and standards.
- Conduct stress tests and sensitivity analyses to assess financial performance under different scenarios.
- Prepare detailed financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Create clear visualizations and presentations of analytical findings for senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead cross-departmental discussions to understand business requirements and resolve complex issues.
- Support the Head of FP&A in developing presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
- Own end-to-end ownership of ad-hoc financial and business analytical tasks, providing insights that drive business decision.
- Define, calculate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on developments that drive business strategy and operational decisions.
- Assist in the development and upgrade of business and financial reports in collaboration with the Data Warehouse team.
What you should have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to conduct detailed data analysis and present clear findings.
- Excellent communication skills; capable of engaging with senior management and understanding cross-departmental requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS and PFRS standards.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years in Big 4 financial audit/advisory, fintech, or banking, preferably in analytical roles related to Finance or Risk Management.
- Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
