Senior DevOps Engineer. Amsterdam/Remote

The First Studios is a FinTech company with offices in London and Amsterdam, developing solutions for Trading and Neo bank. With multiple projects in the pipeline, we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our infrastructure efforts and support our growing team of developers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based systems (Ubuntu, CentOS)
• Implement automation for server provisioning and maintenance
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Cisco hardware and networking solutions
• Build, maintain, and monitor high-availability clusters
• Automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines for diverse projects
• Provide guidance on containerization, orchestration, and deployment best practices
• Resolve technical challenges related to infrastructure and tooling
• Implement robust monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer
• Extensive experience with Linux systems administration and shell scripting
• Strong expertise with Cisco networking and hardware
• Deep knowledge of building and managing clusters (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience in scripting and automation (Bash)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Go or understanding of Go-based infrastructures
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Low-latency and high load optimisations techniques
