Senior QA Automation Engineer (in web3)

Work Format: Remote (with opportunity for future relocation to our Dubai office after the probation period for top performers)

EVEDEX is a hybrid trading exchange, merging CeFi and DeFi to create a seamless, secure, and high-performance trading experience. We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of test automation, ensuring the stability, accuracy, and reliability of our trading platform. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge Web3 technologies and shape the QA strategy for a next-generation exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a test automation strategy for APIs, integrations, and mathematical models.

• Create and maintain automated tests to validate the accuracy and stability of the platform.

• Identify potential risks and edge cases during the planning stage.

• Establish and maintain test documentation (test cases, scenarios, bug reports).

• Lead and mentor the QA team, enhancing expertise and streamlining workflows.

• Conduct regression testing and continuous monitoring to ensure product reliability.

• Collaborate with developers and product teams to refine and enhance testing processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.

• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, WebSockets.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, or similar).

• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Pytest).

• Proven ability to develop and maintain automated tests for complex systems (financial/mathematical models).

• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and blockchain fundamentals.

• Experience in establishing QA processes and leading teams.

• Background in startups or fintech projects is a plus.

• Knowledge of Web3, blockchain, and DeFi.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
