Summary
We seek an SEO & ASO Strategist to lead AI-powered optimization across web, mobile-web, iOS and Android. You will drive technical SEO (Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, JavaScript rendering), generative-AI content and programmatic landing pages, reinforce E-E-A-T and brand visibility, design cutting-edge ASO campaigns (metadata, video creatives, Custom Store Listings, in-app events) and automate workflows with AI tools—while collaborating closely with BizDev, Product, Design and Engineering teams. Additionally, you’ll leverage creative white-hat, grey-hat and, where strategically sound, black-hat SEO tactics to uncover novel growth channels in highly competitive environments.
Responsibilities
- AI-Driven SEO: Develop and execute comprehensive SEO roadmaps—technical audits, on-page optimization, Core Web Vitals improvements, schema markup, programmatic SEO and GEO integration.
- Creative SEO Techniques: Employ white-hat, grey-hat and selectively black-hat methods—ethically reviewed and rigorously tested—to outmaneuver competitors.
- Site Architecture & Mobile-First: Optimize site structure, internal linking and dynamic rendering for UX, semantic relevance and mobile-first indexing.
- E-E-A-T & Brand: Strengthen trust signals and brand presence via Brand SERP, Knowledge Panel optimization and authoritative mentions.
- Automation: Automate SEO tasks—crawl monitoring, reporting, alerts, generative content—using AI platforms and custom scripts.
- ASO Strategy: Design and run Apple App Store and Google Play campaigns: metadata (titles, subtitles, descriptions), creative assets (icons, screenshots, preview videos), Custom Store Listings, localization and deep linking.
- Creative Testing: Prototype and optimize ASO assets—portrait & landscape videos, in-app events—to boost conversion and engagement.
- Keyword Research: Conduct advanced research for web and app listings, leveraging generative AI and branded semantics.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor performance and market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Sprints: Collaborate in Agile sprints with BizDev, Product, Design and Engineering to prototype and deploy experiments across all platforms.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs via GA4, Search Console, App Analytics and custom dashboards; translate data into strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in organic SEO and ASO.
- English proficiency (written & verbal).
- Deep expertise in Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, E-E-A-T, JavaScript rendering and schema markup.
- Mastery of SEO/ASO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Moz, SEOBook, Google Analytics (GA4 & Universal), Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, App Annie, Sensor Tower; AI/automation platforms: ChatGPT, ClaudeAI, Bard, Perplexity.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with SQL and BI tools (Looker, Data Studio).
- Familiarity with API/CI-CD processes for automated deployments and testing.
- Agency or multi-market project experience; comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
