KEY PROJECTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Fine-tuned SOTA large language models using PEFT with LoRa/QLoRa in a distributed multi-GPU setup for a pairwise NLP ranking task, achieving up to 15% improvement in Log Loss over the zero-shot baseline.
• Led an R&D project that developed an image2image neural network optimized for smartphone platforms to enhance image quality. Created a complete pipeline from dataset collection and model training to deployment on smartphones. Achieved inference time under 800ms for a 12MP image through model quantization and utilizing the Qualcomm Hexagon DSP.
• Led the development, integration, and support of a best-in-class Super Resolution SDK, deployed on 30M+ devices in 50+ smartphone models. Developed the world’s first real-time video SR SDK for mobile platforms, running at up to 60 FPS. Several smartphone models powered by the SDK achieved the top 1 DxOMark ranking upon release.
• Integrated Super Resolution preprocessing into a one-shot face recognition pipeline, improving robustness to low-quality input. Recognition confidence increased by over 300% on a pretrained OpenVINO model running on the Intel Movidius Stick.
• Contributed to LangChain (Google API integration improvements), AutoGPTQ (Gemma 2 model support), and OpenCamera Android app (core developer and maintainer).
