Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Company: adjoe - mobile ad platform developing cutting-edge advertising and monetization solutions that take its app partners’ business to the next level.
Work format: Hybrid (Hamburg, Germany).
Core tech: AWS, k8s, Terraform

🚀Challenges that await you
- Constantly improvement and reinvent our cloud infrastructure together with the team of experienced DevOps engineers
- Transfer our current managed AWS cloud infrastructure to self-hosted and open source technologies
- Support our developers in building a high-performance backend with Go
- Introduce new technologies, including migrating part of the architecture to our new Kubernetes and Kafka clusters and introducing Apache Spark/Flink and our own hosted object storage
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth
🧠 Skills we seek
- Must have: your understanding of k8s allows you to architect, engineer and support k8s clusters with stateful and stateless applications.
- Must have: you create Terraform modules on a regular basis while adhering to code quality standards.
- Must have: You feel comfortable creating fully functioning environments consisting of several AWS services (e.g. EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, EMR, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB) from scratch.
- You are experienced with CI/CD tools
- You have good knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- You can keep the right balance between being flexible, adapting to changes and building high performance, reliable solutions.
- English from B1
