IIntelligence Retail is looking for a passionate, hands-on product leader with a solid track record of shipping products and a strong technical background to join our growing team. The role will be central to the development of the strategy and execution path for IIntelligence Retail market analytics business.

Market analytics team is a growing team, making research on the data we acquire from our core product Retail Execution. Our focus is to create an extra competitive analytics product for CPG marketing/sales accounts, bringing AI recommendations, answering the question «How to sell more & more efficiently?».

You will contribute by:

  • Collaborating: Every successful PdM needs to be able to work well within cross-functional teams. The ability to build and maintain successful relationships across not only engineering, data, and design, but also Sales and Marketing will be especially critical for this role. The products you build will serve as the foundation for much of IIntelligence Retail’s future success with CPG sales & marketing clients.
  • Rolling up your sleeves: Everyone from our Founder/CEO down is a doer, and this role is no exception. You love doing the less glamorous work of a PdM (digging into or cleaning data, writing specs and stories, and planning or evaluating sprints).
  • Utilizing your technical Acumen: Being able to dive into the weeds with engineers is essential, and the product lines you will manage will be highly technical. Examples include: machine learning algorithms, statistics, BI.
  • Understanding enterprise customers: This role will be working closely with CPG Brands marketing and sales managers. You will need to empathize with their challenges, understand their needs, manage their expectations and know how to deliver through partnerships.
  • Being ruthless about prioritization: There are only so many hours in a day, and only so many engineering man-months on a team. You always know what the most important features and tasks are and where the highest ROI is.
  • Strategy management: Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities, assess value, develop cases and prioritize to ensure the work focuses on those with maximum value in line with product strategy. Lead the planning product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate market needs, assess value, develop cases, and prioritize to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value in line with product strategy;
  • Provide backlog management, iterations planning and elaboration of the user stories. Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities;
  • Take lead of allocated members of scrum teams to proceed releases in time
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release Goals.

Your background includes:

  • 5+ years of product management experience - defining, building and shipping high-quality software;
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with data analytics, data visualization, statistics;
  • General technical skills relevant for B2B SAAS;
  • Experience in managing multiple competing priorities and stakeholders with competing perspectives, agile process, managing technical teams;
  • Experience in defining and building business facing and consumer facing applications;
  • Experience with problem solving, customizing and managing expectations of external facing business customers;
  • Experience in making buy vs build decisions; and in the case of buy - experience in managing third party vendors;
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across multiple cross-functional constituencies;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. You are equally comfortable presenting to internal teams and external customers & partners;
  • Fluent English.
