We're looking for

an experienced technical director for establishing the company’s technical vision, leading all aspects of the company’s technology development, and being responsible for pursuing and delivering the Product agenda.

Our tech stack

frontend side: self-written framework, based on C++, Unity for all new projects

backend side: Kotlin

Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL

Some of your tasks in this role

• Provide technical leadership and oversight across a variety of projects planned
• Full accountability for all our games technology, architecture, and tech processes across multiple sites and products
• Identify, communicate and pursue key strategic engineering efforts
• Drive communication across all disciplines in coordinating engineering plans
• Lead technical design reviews 
• Identify/plan tool development to improve productivity
• Provide full support to teams in case of technical challenges 
• Work with game team leads to ensure alignment with our technology portfolio
• Be exposed to emerging technologies and developments
• Introduce sound, actionable, technical solutions to provide a high-quality experience to our players
• Review and supervise external development teams

Our expectations

• Great experience in mobile game/mobile development leadership positions within companies with a focus on complex, high-traffic, scalable, and live services
• 3+ years managing, mentoring, and building high performing software engineering teams 
• 7+ years of experience in software design, architecture, and implementation experience
• Background in Java or Kotlin server development with Lead/Senior Developer level - 5-7 years. Experience in database optimization.
• Successful track record of establishing and managing multi-location development operations and operating several projects at a time
• Familiarity with various engineering stacks, game technologies, back-end, and front-end technologies, mobile, and a broad range of APIs
• English level: С1/С2
• Previous experience in the gaming industry would be a big plus
• Familiarity with Unity is a plus
