As an Associate Design System Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company's design system, ensuring that it is consistently applied across all products. This role will work closely with the design team and developers to ensure that the design system is aligned with business goals and effectively supports the creation of high-quality user experiences.
What you will do:
- Maintain and evolve the design system, including establishing and enforcing guidelines for its use, creating and maintaining documentation, and working with the design team to ensure that new components and patterns are added in a timely and consistent manner.
- Collaborate with design team and developers to ensure that the design system is effectively integrated into product development workflows and that it is used consistently across all products.
- Work with the design team to ensure that the design system is effectively communicated and adopted by all designers and stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the design system, providing guidance and support to designers and developers as needed.
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in design systems, and incorporate this knowledge into the ongoing evolution of the company's design system.
Requirements:
Please note that the Associate Design System Manager position is a junior role, not an intern role.
This is a full-time position that requires 1+ years of experience working with design systems, either as a designer or developer. A successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and evolving the company's design system, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends. This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional to take on a key role in shaping the direction of the company's design system
You have:
- Proficiency with Figma
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience designing for web and mobile platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
