QA Lead - Relocation to India (Gurgaon)

About the job:

Monitors every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards. A software quality assurance engineer helps meet deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and team leaders.

We’re looking for QA Lead to participate in the development of Stable Team.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the creation and implementation of Mobile, Web, and Backend testing processes
• Oversee and mentor a talented team of 4 professionals, driving their growth and success
• Maintain and curate essential test artifacts such as test cases, checklists, bug reports, and documentation updates
• Collaborate closely with developers, fostering effective communication and seamless coordination
• Generate comprehensive testing reports to provide valuable insights and facilitate continuous improvement

Your experience and mindset:

• 5+ years experience in the finance/banking/acquiring industry 
• 3+ years experience as a QA lead
• IT degree (Computer science/engineering, System Analysis, Information Systems, IT management)
• English (Fluent or native)

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals
• Proven expertise in mobile app testing across iOS, Android, web, and backend platforms
• Familiarity with API testing tools, such as Postman, for seamless integration testing
• Experience in utilizing ADB, Android Studio, Xcode, and other tools for efficient log analysis and error localization in mobile applications
• Proficiency in working with traffic sniffers to enhance testing effectiveness
• Comfortable working with test documentation and bug tracking systems
• Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with diverse professionals
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of independent decision-making
• Outstanding communication abilities to facilitate clear and concise interactions
• Demonstrated initiative to drive projects forward and achieve exceptional results
• Passion for continuous learning and embracing new technologies and methodologies

It will be a big plus:

• Experience in web application testing
• Proficiency in writing autotests for enhanced efficiency and scalability
