The platform was built alongside Product Marketing Alliance, and it offers embedded tools that help execute work such as conducting pricing research, monitoring competitive intelligence, and dynamically recommending planning improvements based on goals.
With Ignition, teams can improve repeatability, transparency, and cross-functional communication by unifying research, roadmapping, GTM planning, internal comms, and measurement in a single AI-powered hub. The platform automates internal comms and predictively estimates whether features are on track to ship on time or not. Ignition helps teams create better plans, faster, and ensures every launch or release drives revenue impact through process improvement.
Ignition was founded by Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh in 2021 and is headquartered in San Francisco. Derek has spent over a decade leading and scaling marketing teams at rocket-fueled startups and brands like PlayStation, Rippling, and BBVA. Karthik is a technology product leader who’s led teams as a founder, early hire, and executive at companies like Facebook, Craft.co, and KCG holdings.

What you will do:
As an experienced Middle Front-End Developer at Ignition, your responsibilities will include:
Front-end development tasks, working on the front end of the main web application.
Building robust, well-tested services and features using technologies like React, Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
Have the unlimited opportunity for taking ownership of features and areas with increasing scope, and for technical and leadership growth.
Advocate for modern engineering best practices, and use metrics to measure change.
And many other possible tasks.
Requirements:
Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
3-5 years of experience as a Front-end developer.
English skills - we expect you to have a minimum of Upper-Intermediate level to be able to communicate with the Founders and the team in English on a daily basis.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
Strong experience or knowledge of the following: React, Node.js, Next.js, JavaScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, AWS.
Strong communication skills - you are able to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers.
Teamwork - ability to lead technical architecture discussions and help drive technical decisions within the team.
Ability to write understandable, testable code with an eye toward maintainability.
Strong desire & ability to learn and develop - you get carried away when you learn more about this topic, you want to grow professionally in the company and bring profit.
Self-reliance - you are able to work and make decisions on your own.
Proactivity - you have a strong desire to help the company grow. You are open to new information and communication, we expect you to be a person with many ideas, not just an executor.
Focus on detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Not necessary but will be a plus:
Previous SAAS building experience.
Good understanding of UX & UI.
Previous experience as a Full-stack developer.
Working hours:
