QA Engineer with programming skills (Python)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for Data Warehouse projects.
• Perform both manual and automated testing of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within the Data Warehouse.
• Verify data accuracy, integrity, and completeness by comparing source data against target data in the Data Warehouse.
• Identify, track, and report defects using bug-tracking tools, and support defect resolution and closure activities.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives for Data Warehouse testing processes.
• Assist in documenting and maintaining test artifacts, including test cases, test scripts, and test data sets.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure delivery of high-quality Data Warehouse solutions.
• Contribute to the overall testing strategy and help implement industry best practices for Data Warehouse testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Programming experience.
• Experience in writing automated tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Understanding of statistical analysis methods.
• Certification in data analysis or related field.
• Work experience in DWH, Snowflake, and Kubernetes.
• Work experience in the banking sphere.
• Knowledge of the DBT, ELementary Data, DQC.
• Familiarity with data quality and data governance concepts.
