Job Overview
With a broad geography, several regulations, and a fast-increasing number of leads, it becomes complex to manage all the data the company owns. We are looking for a Data Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team who will collaborate with the Information Technology and Business Departments and support the company to become more data-centric, making better use of its data to drive decisions and improve performance.
Requirements
- Collaborate with business departments, IT teams, and operations to implement optimal solutions for business problems, considering factors like cost efficiency, time to market, and quality.
- Design and maintain robust data architectures and models that ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including vision/roadmap and non-functional requirements. Record and effectively share decisions within the IT Department.
- Lead technical decision-making, including selecting the technology stack. Contribute to the development of technical standards and evaluate and select third-party software.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Establish access controls, data classification, and retention policies.
- Design and implement efficient data integration workflows and ETL/ELT processes. Ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems. Address data quality issues through cleansing, standardization, and enrichment.
- Collaborate with business users, database administrators, developers, and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, optimize storage and retrieval systems, and deliver data solutions aligned with business goals.
