Introduction

This job is assigned and dismissed by Head of IT. The direct and reporting manager is IT Support Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

System Management and Maintenance:

• Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability of our on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Active Directory.
• Oversee and manage Office 365, Google G Suite, and VMware vSphere environments.

Endpoint Management:

• Implement and oversee endpoint management solutions, primarily using ManageEngine.
• Handle patch management, software deployment, and OS imaging.

Internal User Support:

• Provide Tier II/III support to internal users across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.

Infrastructure Monitoring and Alerting:

• Monitor system health, performance, and security.
• Configure alerts for system anomalies and respond swiftly to any infrastructure-related incidents.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the IT and Security teams to implement security best practices.
• Participate in IT projects, providing technical input and hands-on support.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
• Recommend system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a system administrator role, preferably in the financial sector.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Google G Suite, and VMware vSphere.
• Relevant certifications, such as MCSA, MCSE, VMware VCP, etc. is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with ManageEngine or similar endpoint management solutions.
• Knowledge of key backup systems and methodologies (Veeam).
• Proficiency in supporting users across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with the latest security practices and protocols in the industry.
• Ability to produce accurate technical guidance and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a regulated financial environment.
