Junior Analyst at firstmovr - a US-based e-commerce accelerator, a satellite Center of Excellence (COE) for eCommerce education and change management (remote).

What will you do?
As a Junior Data Analyst at firstmovr, your responsibilities would include:
Working with Excel and Google Sheets to analyze and manipulate data tables, creating custom formulas for color-coding and conditional formatting of data tables.
Writing formulas, including SQL queries, to extract relevant data from the company's databases.
Optimizing the company's loyalty program (3000+ participants) by analyzing customer registration data, tracking event attendance, and identifying patterns and trends, updating customer information in tables and databases in real-time, including changes to email addresses or other personal details.
Maintaining customer projects and ecommerce sites, providing data analysis and insights as needed. Projects you can be placed on will include analysing financial metrics and building prognosis, assessing category data and KPIs, analysing customer data and building out an internal CRM system.
Staying up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques, and making recommendations for improving the company's data management processes.
Requirements:
Fluent English - you'll constantly communicate with native English speakers in the US, so we don't want to see or hear any mistakes.
Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets - you will be working in them every day, you can easily analyze data, work with formulas and numbers.
Proficiency in SQL - you are able to code to extract relevant data from the company's databases.
Complete Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Analytics or related field.
1-2 years of experience in analytics/data science are preferred.
Great communication skills - you are easy to communicate with, you are not afraid to ask questions.
Excellent attention to detail – you are used to double-checking everything and can quickly notice the slightest mistake.
Structured thinking - you can structurize and describe the business processes and data models.
Strong self-reliance and the ability to create solutions and make decisions on your own with the minimum required confirmations.
Be a proactive team player who's not afraid to speak up his own opinion - seriously, the company is looking for a person with many ideas, not just an executor.
Organizing skills - you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.
Goal- & detail-oriented - you can easily adapt to a fast-changing environment without losing your goals and targets.
Working hours:
You should be ready to work from 9 am to 5 pm New York time daily(EST Time Zone - click here to check your time difference) to overlap with firstmovr's team and the managers from the client's side.
What we offer:
Full-time job (8 working hours per day, 5/2). Please note that we will not consider students and candidates planning to combine several jobs.
Remote work. You may be located in almost any city, just need a good Internet connection, a computer to work from, and an opportunity to work the needed hours in the team’s time zone.
Salary increases after 1 year of successful work together.
