The Opportunity

We are seeking an AI Research Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with experience of training Large Language Models who is eager to make a solid contribution to the field. We like people who can think deeply, have innovative perspectives, and aren’t shy of details (be it math or code optimization).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, train and implement advanced AI models focusing on large language models (LLM), large multimodal models (LMM), and reinforcement learning (RL).
• Actively collaborate with application engineers and contribute to the product.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, applying innovative methods and techniques in your work.
• Contribute to the overall strategy and direction of AI research and development at For Good AI.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience training LLMs with billions of parameters; alternatively experience of training large computer vision or robotic models with an addition of fundamental background in NLP and transformers
• Deep understanding of machine learning, generative deep learning (VAE, GAN, LSTM, Diffusion), transformer architectures, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in PyTorch and C++.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong background in mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, optimization methods, probability theory, and statistics).
• Staying up to date with LLM research.
