Senior Backend Developer (Team Lead)

IREV is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Backend Developer / Team Lead to join our team and contribute to the development of our SaaS platform.

As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of our Partner Platform product. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development process, ensuring effective collaboration among team members, and delivering high-quality results. The ideal candidate will be an adept communicator, proficient leader, and possess a proven track record of managing complex projects within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the product development team, providing clear direction and guidance to foster collaboration and efficiency. 
• Evaluate project requirements and assign tasks to team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives and leveraging individual skillsets. 
• Monitor progress, address challenges promptly, and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency. 
• Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and promote continuous improvement. 
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and maintain a high standard of code quality. 
• Mentor junior developers, offering guidance on technical challenges and professional growth. 
• Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team to promote continuous learning and skill development. 
• Take an active role in feature development and ongoing maintenance of the Partner Platform using PHP Laravel. 
• Ensure seamless integration between backend and frontend components for a cohesive user experience. 
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing features. 
• Optimize platform performance through caching, database optimization, and other best practices. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Drive best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes. 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with PHP Laravel in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with Angular would be considered as a plus.
• Proven track record of at least 1 year in a managerial or team lead role.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and Git version control system.
• Knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Deep understanding of web technologies, client-server communication, and RESTful API design.
• Experience in developing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications/CRM or ERP systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus.
