Senior Java Developer

Required skills and experience:

• full project lifecycle experience (design…production)
• strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin with at least 3 years of experience 
• deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• microservices
• REST APIs
• asynchronous communication (i.e., via Kafka / RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ)
• relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Redis)
• basic cloud services experience (VMs / blob stores / messaging - EC2, S3, SQS, SNS for AWS or similar) 
• microservice testing on different levels
• CI/CD principles and tools
• experience with operations tools for production support - logs, metrics and traces

Nice to have skills and experience:

• commercial development in Fintech or Crypto domains 
• experience working in distributed teams 
• experience working in startups 
• containers
• experience with app-level encryption / experience with HSMs (AWS CloudHSM in particular)
• experience with managing technical debt   
• pet projects, open source contributions

Duties and tasks:

• develop new and support existing services (Swoo mobile application backend and backoffice)
• support commercially available contactless payment service for Mastercard
• launch a contactless payment service for VISA 
• expand the crypto loyalty program (tokenback for contactless payment) with payment systems, banks, and retailers 
• integrate with external suppliers (VISA, Mastercard, On-Ramp & Off-Ramp crypto-providers)
• participate in architecture design of new solutions and redesign of existing solutions to improve security, extensibility, scalability and fault tolerance
• actively communicate with the product and mobile team, technical support service
