Junior Frontend/Full Stack Developer

We're Milk & Cartoons, a team working on a few products for ourselves and for clients in the US and Canada. Our stack includes JavaScript/TypeScript, React for the web, React Native for mobile apps, Node.js on the server, GraphQL for APIs, RedwoodJS and Meteor frameworks.

We're Looking For:

• JavaScript and React Knowledge: understand the basics of JavaScript and React and be ready to use them in building web apps.
• English Skills: be able to read in English. If you can write or speak it, that's a bonus!
• Git Skills: knowing how to use git is important.
• Experience: You don't need to have worked on commercial projects before. We welcome interns who are excited to work on real products.

How We Work:

• Our working hours are flexible, you can work when you want.
• We don't have daily meetings and only call when we really need to.
• Development process: get a task, create a branch, code, test, make a pull request, get it reviewed, merge, and deploy.
• Grow skills as we work on interesting and challenging tasks.

Interview Process at Milk & Cartoons:

• Initial chat on Telegram.
• 15-minute call to learn more about each other.
• 20-minute live React task to show us your skills in action with a short React exercise.
• 20-30 minute call to learn more about each other and talk about JS/React.
• Optional offline task. Sometimes, we might ask for an additional task to be done in your own time.
• If it's a match, we'll make you an offer to join us.
