Rust Developer (HFT)

We are seeking an advanced senior developer with robust experience in both Rust and Python to join our quant trading firm. The successful candidate will play a key role in rewriting vital components into Rust, integrating them into our growing Rust/Python ecosystem. We’re looking for someone ambitious and experienced enough to help us glue existing Python pipelines with newly introduced Rust components and create a vision for how these two will play together in the long term.

General Requirements:

• Deep understanding of networking, data transfer, and computer architecture in general
• Proficiency in async/massively parallel programming concepts
• Excellent understanding of memory management in non-garbage collected environments
• Familiarity with system call wrapper library functions

Rust-Specific Requirements:

• Experience with tokio, serde (or alternatives) and pyo3/modin
• Familiarity with the Rust standard library and ownership model
• Understanding of safety and concurrency in Rust

Python-Specific Requirements:

• Proficiency in asyncio and a deep understanding of how threads work
• Experience with numpy/cython/numba and understanding of high-performance Python is a plus
• Familiarity with Python’s key libraries for data analysis, such as pandas and scikit-learn
