Game Mathematician

Our client is a startup in the online casino industry looking for a Game Mathematician.

Responsibilities:

- Develop mathematical models for new games.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions for game ideas and features.

- Model and fine-tune mathematical algorithms using Excel.

- Create prototypes to test game flow and balance.

- Validate mathematical models through simulations.

- Analyze user feedback and game statistics to adjust models and game designs.

- Collaborate with game development teams to resolve issues and optimize game concepts.

- Assist Game Producers in refining game concepts.

- Work closely with Game Designers, Software Developers, Producers to ensure high-quality game production.

- Troubleshoot technical implementation of mathematical models with engineers.

- Provide explanations and support on mathematical aspects to game designers, engineers, compliance teams, and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years as a Game Mathematician (or similar role) in the iGaming industry.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Game Design, or related fields.

- Slot Experience: Familiarity with slots is advantageous.

- Mathematical Proficiency: Understanding of slot game mechanics including RTP, - volatility, etc.

- Programming Knowledge: Knowledge in high-level programming languages such - as C#, C++, Java, Python, etc.

- Excel Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a knack for creative problem-solving.

- Game Passion: Genuine interest in games from both designer and player perspectives.

- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a creative and collaborative environment.

- Multitasking: Capability to handle multiple games simultaneously and adapt to changing requirements.

- Language: Intermediate level or higher proficiency in English.
