Game Data Engineer / Analyst

We are looking for a candidate passionate about the Gaming industry to join our team as a Game Data Engineer / Analyst and contribute to the development of core and meta gameplay. 
In this role, you will closely collaborate with our game designers, working with end-to-end data processes: from raw data collection and processing to optimization, visualization, and engagement with stakeholders. 

What you will be doing in our Team:

• Working with Data: Collecting, processing, and optimizing data to ensure its quality and integrity.
• Analysis and Reporting: Providing analytical services and insights to support decision-making and optimize gaming processes.
• Visualization: Developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to track business performance and key metrics.
• Collaboration with Teams: Closely collaborating with game designers and developers to understand data needs and integrate analytics into the development process.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking game metrics and user data to identify improvement opportunities and conduct A/B testing.

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Passion for Gaming: A genuine enthusiasm for the gaming industry and a strong desire to grow within this field.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer / Analyst or in a similar role.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Strong math skills and a solid understanding of statistical tools.
• SQL Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience working with databases.
• BI Tools Proficiency: Experience using BI tools (such as Metabase, Power BI, or Tableau) to create insightful reports and dashboards.
• Python Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with analytics libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib).
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical abilities combined with strong communication skills for effective interaction with development teams and stakeholders.
• Gaming Industry Insight: Understanding of the gaming industry and familiarity with game performance metrics.
• Data Management Experience: Experience working with large datasets and managing data effectively.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Proficiency: Native Russian speaker with a high level of verbal and written English (Intermediate+).
