About a company: HFT, market making and algo trading firm from Dubai
Stack: Rust |Python | Java | Redis | Kafka | Postgres | Influx | Loki | Grafana
We are seeking a junior-level developer with experience in Rust and Python for our quant trading firm. You will rewrite key components in Rust and integrate them into our Rust/Python ecosystem. Your role involves merging existing Python pipelines with new Rust components and creating a long-term integration plan.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer speed-sensitive components from Python to Rust, reducing internal latency
- Optimize Rust modules for CPU and memory efficiency
- Integrate Rust modules into the existing Python codebase for seamless operation.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of commercial Rust experience.
- tokio, serde (or alternatives), pyo3/modin.
- networking, data transfer, and computer architecture.
- async and massively parallel programming concepts.
- memory management in non-garbage collected environments.
- python’s key data analysis libraries (pandas and scikit-learn)
- English, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems.
