Responsibilities

Team Management:

  • Recruitment, training and development of the analytics team.
  • Task assignment, optimizing team performance.
  • Conducting regular meetings with the team to discuss progress, challenges and strategies to improve department processes.
  • Conducting regular 1:1.

Strategy Development:

  • Defining and implementing strategies to utilize data to achieve business objectives.
  • Interacting with company leadership to develop data-driven strategic decisions.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Interacting with other departments to understand their needs and develop appropriate analytical solutions.
  • Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitating data-driven decision making.

Infrastructure and technology:

  • Develop and maintain analytical infrastructure including data warehouses, ETL processes(Extract, Transform, Load) and data visualization tools.
  • Ensuring high performance and reliability of analytic infrastructure.

Implement best practices for data and process automation.

Data Quality Control:

  • Ensuring high data quality and reliability.
  • Developing and implementing data quality control standards and procedures.

Reporting and Alerting:

  • Creating regular and adhoc reports, visualizing data for different stakeholders.
  • Setting up an alerting system for timely notification of important changes in data or indicators

Metrics:

  • Create and then keep current a metrics hierarchy (metrics pyramid) that maps high-level business objectives to specific product metrics.
  • Identify key product metrics that best reflect the health and performance of the product.

Integrating analytics into the product development process:

  • Ensuring the analytics team works closely with product managers, designers and developers.
  • Implementing analytic insights throughout the product lifecycle: from concept to launch and subsequent improvement.

A/B testing and experimentation:

  • Lead the planning and execution of A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product changes.
  • Analyze test results and formulate recommendations based on data

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analytics at least 5 years of experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading and managing data analytics teams
  • Strong understanding of data analytics techniques, visualization tools and ETL processes
  • Experience in developing data-driven strategies
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, build relationships, and influence decision-making processes
  • Knowledge of modern data tools and technologies
  • Experience creating and keeping current a hierarchy of metrics to move high-level business objectives to specific product metrics
  • Experience leading the planning and execution of A/B tests and other experiments
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and motivate a team of data analysts, fostering their growth and development
  • English Upper Intermediate
