Backend Developer for Blockchain Project

Experience with blockchain projects is mandatory.

We are in search of a talented Backend Developer who can write low latency financial software that processes billions of dollars in trading volume daily. This role offers you a chance to be part of an innovative team poised to impact a billion-dollar industry.

Responsibilities

• Write low latency financial software, including order book matching engines, trading engines, and REST & WebSocket API endpoints.
• Build high-performance REST & WebSocket APIs to power our frontend app and support programmatic traders.
• Develop open-source TypeScript clients for user interaction with our on-chain smart contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop the best overall product.
• Lead frontend and backend teams to ensure cohesive and efficient development processes.

Requirements

• Proven Experience as a Software Developer: 3+ years of full-time development experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Secure, efficient, high-quality code writing with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with: JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets, Docker.
• Blockchain Experience: Previous work on blockchain projects is essential.
• Fast Learner: Ability to quickly master new technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead both frontend and backend teams effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience working on high-quality products in the finance or security space.
• Skills in building Web Services, SQL, CSS, React, Redux.
• Strong interest in decentralized finance.
• Experience building DEX Perp applications and smart contracts.
