Key responsibilities: 
 

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend components of our platform using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design, build, and optimize our admin panel for managing platform services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and the technology stack.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are using the best tools and techniques.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a focus on the Laravel framework.
• Experience with Laravel Queue and Laravel Passport is a huge plus.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly GitLab.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• High level of English from B2

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with modern PHP practices (e.g., Composer, PHPUnit).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Experience with managing user roles, permissions, and authentication in Laravel.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
