Backend Node.js developer

The Role

We are searching for a skilled Node.js Backend Developer to join our team and help us build and scale our platform. As a key member of the development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and backend systems using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and Mongoose.
• Implement real-time features using Socket.IO.
• Integrate with various third-party services and APIs.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Adhere to best practices and industry standards.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL + orm (like knex) and Mongoose.
• Experience with Socket.IO for real-time applications.
• Proven experience in integrating with third-party services and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web architecture.
• Experience working with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  Bonus Points:
• Experience with NestJS.
• Experience with DevOps configuration and Google Cloud.
• Experience with backend project management and technical business planning.
