We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Backend Developer to help us build and scale a cutting-edge platform.

As the first member of our in-house software development team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of our systems and processes from the ground up. This is an exciting chance to build a team, define development practices, and influence the future technical direction of our platform.

You will be a hands-on leader, actively coding and contributing to the development process while guiding the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and actively participate in the development of systems, from architecture to implementation, with full ownership of scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Design and scale the architecture of a high-performance application.
• Develop and maintain the platform's backend using Python/Django.
• Optimize and fine-tune our database (PostgreSQL + pgvector) for peak efficiency.
• Build and integrate robust REST APIs with Django Rest Framework for seamless frontend collaboration.
• Manage asynchronous processes using Celery and Redis.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to the team.
• Mentor other developers as the team expands, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of experience with Python and in-depth knowledge of Django.
• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, including optimizing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Redis and Celery.
