Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Relocation within Europe, EU citizenship required.

IT consulting company specializing in FinTech solutions, with professionals based in Belgium, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

Our projects span across the Benelux, Canada, South America, and Portugal.

We seek a seasoned Senior Java Developer to spearhead the development of reference applications and foundational components for our standardized development environments within this framework. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Java, Angular, and OpenAPI and a proven ability to adapt to emerging technologies. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain Java, Angular, and OpenAPI-based applications, including reference applications and reusable components. 
• Collaborate with the DevSecOps team to integrate development processes into the platform. 
• Champion the evolution of the DevSecOps platform and development framework. 
• Establish and maintain development quality standards, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. 
• Mentor and guide development teams on best practices and tooling. 
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitLabCI). 

Required Skills: 

• Expert-level proficiency in Java (Java 17/21, SpringBoot 3, Spring 6), Angular, and OpenAPI. 
• Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Experience with GitLab-CI, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Nexus, Git). 
• Solid grasp of database technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL). 
• Proficiency in development tools (VSCode, IntelliJ). 
• Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM). 
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken 
• At least 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment, preferably using AgilePM or Scrum methodologies. 
• Experience in developing cloud-native applications. 
• Experience in building web-based business applications. 
• Experience using agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Rental compensation in Belgium:  up to 1 200,00 € per month
