Senior Automation QA Engineer

About Us

EVEDEX is a fast-growing fintech startup building a decentralized platform for cryptocurrency trading. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to take ownership of developing and implementing automated testing frameworks and help shape our QA processes. This role is vital to ensuring the quality of our product and the stability of the exchange's mathematical models.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement a robust automation testing strategy, focusing on API and integration tests.
• Create and maintain automated tests to validate the accuracy of the exchange's mathematical models.
• Analyze requirements to identify potential risks during the planning phase.
• Write and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, cases, and bug reports.
• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering their growth and coordinating their efforts.
• Ensure product stability through thorough regression testing and continuous monitoring.
• Contribute to establishing a hypothesis testing framework for rapid prototyping and analysis.
• Develop QA processes and introduce best practices to enhance team efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and WebSockets.
• Advanced skills in API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Pytest.
• Proven ability to build and maintain automated testing for complex systems (e.g., financial or mathematical models).
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and blockchain fundamentals.
• A track record of setting up QA processes and leading QA teams.
• Experience in startup environments or fintech projects is a big plus.
• Experience with Web3 application architecture.
