About the Role

As a Senior iOS Engineer at GlamApp, you will drive the development of cutting-edge features, ensuring top-notch performance on iOS devices. Key Responsibilities

1. Feature Development:
   1. We have two directions:
      • Direction A: Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced photo editing features. This includes filters, effects, overlays, and video editing functionalities to enhance user experiences.
      • Direction B: Improve our social networking features. This involves experiences with social networks, such as likes, comments, feeds, and user profiles.
      • Having experience in either of these directions is a significant plus.
2. Performance Optimization:
   • Fine-tune application performance for speed and responsiveness, leveraging your expertise in performance profiling and tuning to ensure a seamless user interface.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to define product requirements, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business objectives.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Partner with the QA team to devise comprehensive testing strategies, uphold code quality standards, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of iOS development experience, preferably within a startup or similarly fast-paced environment.
3. Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
4. Solid grasp of iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Graphics, and Core Animation.
5. Experience in real-time video processing and editing is highly advantageous.
6. Familiarity with image processing techniques, video codecs, and streaming technologies is a plus.
7. Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git, and adept at collaborative development workflows.
8. Ability to thrive in an agile, collaborative team environment.
