Job Description

ReSource is seeking a skilled and visionary Senior Product Designer to spearhead the development of our SaaS platform. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building the user experience from scratch, crafting a seamless, high-quality interface that aligns with our long-term vision.

As the Senior Product Designer, you will be instrumental in creating an intuitive, user-centric experience that delights our clients from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing shifting priorities and managing diverse stakeholder needs to ensure that all design projects are aligned, effective, and centred on client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and facilitate discovery workshops and user research.
• Translate user needs and business requirements into sensible user experiences, working closely with the Head of Product, Product Owner, engineering team and other stakeholders.
• Build a user-centric experience that's simple, intuitive, and approachable.
• Utilise graphic design skills to create compelling visuals and graphics that enhance product storytelling and user engagement.
• Create complex, high-fidelity dynamic prototypes.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and managing diverse stakeholder needs.
• Make key design decisions, navigating trade-offs and resolving design challenges independently.
• Establish and utilise design systems, style guides, and patterns in the creation of UX deliverables.
• Set up design processes, including design critiques and feedback loops.
• Develop engaging slides and presentations in PowerPoint to support product and sales activities.

Qualifications

Must Have

• A strong track record of building and shipping high-quality products from scratch, with 5+ years of design experience.
• Expert-level skills in Figma to create complex highly interactive prototypes.
• Expert-level skills in Miro to facilitate product discovery workshops.
• Deep understanding of user interface and user experience design principles tailored to complex systems.
• Experience in creating, managing, and evolving comprehensive design systems.
• Experience with B2B products and research for them
• Advanced skills in conducting and applying findings from a wide range of user research methods, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to represent and share work effectively, adapting communication to influence and resonate across all levels of the organisation and external partners.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaborate cross-functionally with research, product management, engineering, and data teams, facilitating strategic alignment within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strength in strategic thinking and communication to influence and guide decision-making processes.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to create inclusive designs.

Plus

• Experience working with marketing and sales teams to align design and business objectives.
• Experience in supply chain management and compliance, preferably in the minerals or battery industry.
• Familiarity with the Shape Up product development methodology.
