ADVANCED PHP ENGINEER

We are seeking a motivated Advanced PHP Laravel engineer to join our backend team. In this role you will be deeply involved in designing and implementing scalable backend services, deal with business challenges and contributing in our growth. 

You will work closely with frontend engineers, product and QA. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Service and inter-service communications design, database structures; 

• Code and conducting code reviews; 

• Profile and debug applications, fix bugs, identify bottlenecks, and improve performance; 

• Participate in the improvement of our processes 

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. 

• Other team activities, including project reviews, problem-solving within the team, meetups etc.

OUR EXPECTATIONS 

• Practical experience in designing applications and web applications; 

• Development of database structures, database normalization, and forced denormalization; 

• Programming languages: PHP (Laravel and Filament are must), JS 

• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, CSS 

• Experience working with WebRTC and media streaming is a big plus; 

• Experience in Queues and event-driven applications is a big plus; 

• Familiarity with the principles of the software development life cycle (SDLC); 

• Strong understanding of client-server patterns; 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Principles of unit testing and test creation; 

• Confident knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming); 

• Ability to defend your point of view to achieve the best results. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• 2+ years of experience
