Senior QA engineer

SOLANTEQ is a team of experts in payment technologies and card processing. Since 2014 we develop, implement, and support our own SOLAR software, as well as provide consulting in our field. Our clients include major banks and processing companies.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Testing company products and client configurations.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing test scenarios.
• Automating test scripts in specialized software.
• Logging defects in the bug tracker and verifying fixes.
• Setting up and maintaining test environments.
• Reviewing tests from implementation teams and providing improvement recommendations.
• Developing and implementing testing methodologies for implementation projects.
• Mentoring and training junior QA specialists.
  
  Nice to have:
   
• Domain knowledge (finance, banking software).
• Familiarity with Maven build system.
• Experience in database administration (PostgreSQL/Oracle) for configuring test environments.
• Experience with CI systems.

What we expect:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or economics.
• At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance.
• Understanding of testing processes and experience optimizing them.
• Ability to process information quickly and multitask.
• Basic Linux command-line knowledge (all applications run on Linux).
• Knowledge or experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• English B2 – level or above.
