Position Overview

We are seeking a Research Expert/Consultant in the field of new carbon materials (including carbon-carbon composites, carbon ceramics, lithium batteries, graphene, and advanced carbon materials) for a leading listed company in China's carbon industry. This role offers flexibility for remote work from the candidate’s home country or onsite in Chengdu, China, with collaboration models available as a consultant or project-based contractor.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate R&D projects in new carbon materials, aligning with industry best practices and technological advancements.

- Contribute to process optimization for carbon product manufacturing and drive innovation in material development.

- Collaborate with international teams to advance R&D in carbon-carbon composites, carbon ceramics, lithium battery materials, graphene, and other advanced carbon applications.

Qualifications

(I) Technical & Managerial Expertise

- Age under 55 years old; Bachelor’s degree or higher (major irrelevant).

- Comprehensive technical and R&D management experience in the carbon industry.

- Proficiency in carbon product manufacturing processes and procedures, OR hands-on experience in R&D of carbon-carbon composites, carbon ceramics, lithium battery materials, and other new carbon materials.

(II) International Competence

- Nationality unrestricted; fluent English (working proficiency required).

- Preferred: Experience at internationally renowned carbon companies, research institutions, or laboratories.

(III) Work Arrangement

- Work location: Flexible remote work from home country OR onsite in Chengdu, China.

- Collaboration model: Consultant or project-based contract, with remote work options available.
