Axiom Suites is a dynamic early-stage software company revolutionizing the real estate industry with its cutting-edge AI-driven platform. They empower multi-family real estate investors with advanced tools and personalized insights to streamline their underwriting process, optimize deal structures, and maximize returns. 

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack, ML & AI Developer to take charge of their ongoing project and lead the development of their website & software, which incorporates AI, machine learning, and OCR technology. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, particularly in Python, OCR technology, and ML & AI frameworks. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical landscape of their product, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the current development team to finalize and enhance the existing codebase.
• Lead the coding efforts to complete the website & software, including importing and exporting data from PDFs and Excel documents.
• Implement OCR technology to extract specific data from imported documents and direct it to relevant outputs for display on the front end.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI and machine learning functionalities to provide personalized insights to users.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to create an intuitive and visually appealing user interface.
• Contribute to data architecture design and DevOps practices to ensure scalability and performance.
• Communicate effectively with the team through Slack, particularly with key team members such as the founders, and UX/UI designer for technical guidance. 

Requirements:

• Excellent written & spoken English skills - your tasks require an Advanced level of English since you’ll be working with an American team, so we don't want to hear or see any mistakes.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on the back-end, Python, OCR technology, and ML & AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras, or any other). 
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant libraries/frameworks. 
• Proven experience in successfully launching and scaling web applications.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and DevOps principles.
• Prior experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers and AI developers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote work environment.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Not necessary but will be a great plus: 

• Knowledge of the Real Estate industry is a plus.

Work Schedule:

The initial production phase requires a commitment of approximately 30 hours per week for a duration of approximately 3 months to launch the application. Once launched, the commitment shifts to around 5-10 hours per week for ongoing maintenance. You'll need to track time in Clockify, and compensation will be based on an hourly rate. Also, the selected candidate will provide daily Slack summaries/reports detailing the work accomplished each day to keep the team posted regarding the progress.

The best hours for communication with the team are any time after 6 pm New York time. Early mornings before 7:30 am New York time are also suitable (press here to check your time difference with the EST time zone).

• Flexible part-time schedule (until the app is launched = 6 working hours per day, 5/2; after the launch = around 5-10 hours per week). Candidates combining jobs are welcome but must commit to approximately 6 hours per day during the initial 3-month launch period.
