We, the Reef Games team, are looking for a 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐫 to join us in working on an exciting merge-3 project. We are seeking a specialist who can turn game mechanics into a well-tuned and engaging system, capable of inspiring and winning the hearts of millions of players.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Develop and fine-tune game balance and overall economy in collaboration with the game design team.
- Maintain the current game balance and economy, promptly making adjustments based on analytics and feedback.
- Design monetization strategies and enhance their efficiency using analytical insights.
- Work with the in-game level editor to adjust and refine balance.
- Conduct playtests, evaluate balance, and ensure its quality.
- Analyze player behavior based on analytics data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in designing and developing new features.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Balance Game Designer.
- Hands-on experience balancing game economies for casual, mid-core, or hardcore games.
- Solid knowledge of mathematics, including functions, graphs, and probability theory.
- Ability to build mathematical models to analyze and balance game systems.
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets, including complex formulas and data visualization.
- Experience working with analytics data and understanding the impact of balance changes on key metrics and player behavior.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in working with calculations and balance tables.
𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐭𝐨-𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬:
- Basic proficiency in Python (for data analysis and task automation).
- Experience working with Unity.
- Involvement in developing casual games.
- Practical experience as a Level Designer.
