Take control of the growth and strategy for the team developing the core of our customer’s experience. Developing the application(s) which are the main contact point with the customer, the multidisciplinary team is working mostly with React, Angular, Wordpress to deliver great products that excite our customers.
The team delivery gets a lot of exposure and visibility both from the customers and from the management. It’s responsible for getting features out in the customer’s hands and therefore a key team to lead if you are interested in having a direct impact on product success and getting direct customer feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains high team efficiency, development speed and high quality of resulting work
- Is responsible for running team ceremonies, setting daily work goals, ensuring smooth work flow and reaching the goals agreed with the Product organization
- Is responsible for maintaining a fully staffed team and for driving recruitment of open roles in the team, if any
- Leads, supervises and motivates employees, performs regular 1:1s with each member of their team
- Evaluates and supports team development, manages personal development, training plans, career development and promotions
- Evaluates performance on a regular basis and recommends salary changes and maintains retention plans and succession plans for team members
- Organizes work process, coordinates and controls work actions, ensures the work quality and that tasks are performed on time, including initiative delivery schedules being observed
- Responsible for the team to understand and follow processes and technologies
- Acts as a mid or senior developer within the team, for 50% of the time
Requirements:
- 3-5 years front-end development experience
- Minimum 1 year experience leading a team
- English language level at least B2
- Strong knowledge about agile development methodologies
- Excellent JS knowledge, unit testing, integration testing, security testing for code
- Wordpress understanding
