Position Description

As part of our continued growth, TrueLab Games Studios is expanding its Internal Services team, which supports the company’s ecosystem through robust internal APIs, business reporting, and data aggregation tools.
We are now looking for a Fullstack NodeJS Developer to strengthen our backend services powering our game production and business intelligence systems.
The role is fully remote, with team members distributed across Europe, Georgia, Armenia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, Portugal, and Malta.

What do you do?

In this position, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services ensuring the smooth operation of TrueLab’s internal systems. Your work will have a direct impact on how our teams build, launch, and monitor our games.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
· Developing and integrating scalable software solutions.
· Building and maintaining REST APIs to support internal products.
· Designing new database schemas and optimizing existing ones (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
· Implementing client-server applications with NodeJS and TypeScript.
· Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code (unit, e2e, stress testing).
· Participating in architecture discussions and continuous improvement of development processes.
· Collaborating with developers, QA, and Team Leads in an agile environment using Jira.

What do you know?

To shine in this role, you are confident in modern backend engineering and understand what it takes to keep high-load systems stable and efficient.

We expect you to have:
· 2+ years of experience in software development with NodeJS and TypeScript.
· Hands-on experience with frameworks such as ExpressJS, Fastify, NestJS, or similar.
· Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization.
· Experience with RabbitMQ, Redis, and Docker.
· Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing practices (TDD / BDD).
· Familiarity with Git (rebase, cherry-pick, conflict resolution).
· English (B1) sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation.

Nice to have:
· Experience with Vue.js 3 and related UI frameworks.
