Java Developer (Middle/Senior)

We’re looking for a proactive, independent, and skilled Java Developer to join our Cross-functional Engineering team. This is your opportunity to own complex challenges, build scalable systems, and contribute to a high-impact product used nationwide.

• Languages & Frameworks: Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Go
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Messaging & Caching: Kafka, Redis
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, GitLab

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across teams to innovate software solutions, identifying high-impact patterns and deploying them iteratively
• Help to define and communicate technical vision, ensuring alignment with product goals
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, adhering to best practices and standards, ensuring end-to-end technical ownership and task delivery
• Analyse and troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and addressing technical debt promptly to maintain product health
• Estimate efforts, provide technical support, and contribute to hiring and training, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or in a related field
• Demonstrated work experience of at least 3 years in designing and developing services or applications within an organization
• Experience of at least 3 years in Java/Spring and hands on experience with solid principles and clean code methodology in a similar role and hands on experience with solid principles and clean code methodology
• English (verbal & written) - at least intermediate level

Will be considered an advantage:

• Experience in designing and implementing modern cloud-based applications
• Good understanding of/and building, fault-tolerant and no-downtime distributed cloud systems
• Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
• Knowledge or desire to learn other technologies (Go, and more)
