Senior DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

We are looking for

a DevOps Engineer to work as a part of the CI/CD team.. You will work in a polyglot environment where you can learn new languages and technologies whilst working with an enthusiastic team.

Responsibilities 

• Participate in building the modern cloud-native scalable, flexible and extensible CI/CD solution for the whole application ecosystem of the company.
• Implement pipelines to automate security, reliability, and availability best practices during all stages of software lifecycle.
• Writing patches on Golang for open source projects.
• Deep dive into components (Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Scaling: working with new types of environments
• Migrating CICD workflows to EKS k8s using argo-workflows
• Development of a CD platform using GitOps (ArgoCD)
• Development of a plugin for managing secrets from Terraform & ArgoCD & Kustomize (Golang)
• CI platform development using Spot instances & serverless technologies (AWS Lambda)
• Search for architectural solutions
• Engineering team support.
• Deployment Data Centers with one button, creating dynamic environments for a microservice application.
• Infrastructure deployment automation, Terraform automation.

Stack technologies

• Ruby on Rails, Go, Java, Node.js
• Postgres, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Amazon (AWS)
• Docker, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, GitOps

Requirements 

• 5+ years professional experience in hands-on engineering roles (DevOps/SRE)
• Expert with k8s. Deep knowledge of its architecture and components. Experience creating application deployments of Kubernetes-based services with Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD using GitOps. 
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures Amazon Web Services and knowledge of related CI/CD practices. 
• Expertise in Linux.
• Ability to program any other language (Go and Ruby are preferable)
• Experience with VPC networking and security policies
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation. 
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• English – not lower than upper-intermediate
