Risk Data Analyst

I’m Anton from PLATA. We are looking for Risk Data Analyst [Senior] for Credit Card Risk team which join us and create new fintech product in Mexico  🇲🇽🕺

Credit Card Risk team:
The Credit Card Risk team is dedicated to managing credit card risk and profitability. We develop credit card risk decision making (origination, CLIP) and collection strategies

Challenges that await you:
- Manage, monitoring and improvement of credit card’s risk origination strategy: Limit Policy, ML models, cut-offs, Rules to maximise product profitability
- Develop and manage NPV model of the product
- Interaction with business department about product and origination process, product conditions, tariffs, acquisition channels profitability

What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years experience in analytical roles (data science or related), at least 2 in risk departments
- Education: Mathematics, physics, engineering, economics, computer science
- Understanding of retail risk management principles: adverse selection, vintage / portfolio analysis, knowledge of key risk and product metrics in retail lending
- Knowledge of unit economics of credit cards, ability to explain dependencies and key metrics
- Experience with databases, strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with one of the analytical scripting languages (Python / R)
- Strong analytical skills, understanding of basic machine learning concepts
- Strong knowledge of mathematical statistics and understanding of probabilities
